1) “The Book of Joy”

Centering Your Life in Christ

In April of 2015, Archbishop Tutu traveled to the Dalai Lama’s home in India, to create what they hoped would be a gift for others. They looked back on their long lives to answer a single burning question: How do we find joy in the face of life’s inevitable suffering? “The Book of Joy”, offers us a rare opportunity to experience their astonishing and unprecedented week together, from the first embrace to the final good-bye.
Sunday, January 28 (1 day only), 4:00-5:00pm – Room B120 | Cost: $10
Leader: Shari Rates, ShariR@douglasvilleFUMC.org

2) “Searching for God in Godforsaken Times and Places”

Centering Your Life in Christ

This book is a heart-cry by one person whose honest journey through life has earned him a special kind of spiritual peace, a person who has profound insights to offer others seeking to live Christianly in a confusing, contradictory world. Penetrating and sensitive, questioning and honest, this book is for believers and seekers alike who are looking for a meaningful, real discussion of life’s duplicity.
Sunday, February 25 (1 day only), 4:00-5:00pm – Room B120 | Cost: $10

3) “Sozo Saved Healed Delivered: A Journey Into Freedom with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”

Centering Your Life in Christ

The Biblical concept of salvation comes from the Greek word ‘Sozo’ and has a holistic implication. Power and victory flowed through the New Testament Church because the early Christians understood how to live out their salvation in a way that impacted every area of their lives— spirit, soul, and body.  In SOZO, Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher provide revelatory teaching and miraculous testimonies that paint a stunning picture of how to experience Heaven’s freedom in every area of your life.
Sunday, March 25 (1 day only), 4:00-5:00pm – Room B120 | Cost: $10
