Trinity Soup Kitchen
For the 23rd year, DFUMC will be serving at the Trinity Soup Kitchen in downtown Atlanta Sunday, September 18. We need 80 gallons of soup (container/recipe provided in the bins on the second floor lobby of B-building; 1800 sandwiches (each sandwich must be individually wrapped in a sandwich bag- 900 meat/ cheese combo with no mayo; 900 peanut butter and jelly); and 40 volunteers (kitchen and servers). All food should be delivered to Patricia Tidwell Hall on September 18 by 9:30am.
If you deliver food to the kitchen prior to Sunday morning, please label the food “Trinity,” place in the refrigerator, and notify Susan Pece at 770-920-1358. Schedule: 9:30am-Volunteers meet in Patricia Tidwell Hall to load food; 10:30am- Depart DFUMC in bus and individual cars; 4:15pm- Return.
