Worship is a corporate and individual experience, shared between you and God, but involving those who are in fellowship with you. At Douglasville FUMC you will find a service that helps you to experience the transforming presence and grace of God. Whichever service you choose to attend, we welcome you to come and be filled! Explore the services below so you’ll know what to expect. Remember that childcare is always available for your convenience.

Our Mission
Connect people to Jesus,
Make disciples,
Transform the world.

What are the types of worship?

Douglasville FUMC offers several types of worship to meet the needs and worship preferences of the community.

How do I know which is right for me?

At the traditional services (Sundays, 8:30 and 11:00am), you can expect a sermon, congregational singing, choir and prayer.

At The Journey service (Sundays, 11:00am), you can expect praise and worship led by a band, videos, a message, and coffee.

At Dinner Church (First and Third Saturdays, 5:00pm), we share a free meal, music, and a message of hope.

What if I attend and don't like the style?

No worries! Many folks attend each of our services at one time or another. We all go through changes in our lives and variety in worship style may be one of those. Feel free to visit any of our services at any time.
